Indiana Wesleyan University to Host Grammy-Nominated Ensemble VOCES8

MARION, Ind. (Sep 8, 2025) – Indiana Wesleyan University (IWU) will host Grammy-nominated British vocal ensemble VOCES8 for a live concert on Sunday, October 26, 2025, at 7:30 p.m. in the Phillippe Performing Arts Center on IWU's Marion campus. The performance will also feature the IWU Chorale.
Touring globally, VOCES8 performs an extensive repertory across a cappella concerts and collaborations with leading musicians, orchestras, conductors, and soloists. Central to the ensemble’s performance and education ethos are versatility and a celebration of diverse musical expression.
VOCES8 is often described as the world’s top-streaming classical vocal group and has performed in renowned venues such as Wigmore Hall and the Sydney Opera House. This October’s concert is part of their worldwide season, which includes more than 100 performances and the launch of their new album, “TWENTY,” celebrating the ensemble’s twentieth anniversary.
“VOCES8 are some of the most talented performers we’ve ever had perform on campus,” said Davy Chinn, director of the IWU Chorale and chair of the Division of Music and Theatre. “Through their amazing performances, VOCES8 evoke a wide range of emotions and musical styles. The IWU Chorale joining them onstage will also be a fantastic opportunity to display their talent and hard work.”
VOCES8 features the musical talents of sopranos Savannah Porter and Eleonora Poignant, alto Katie Jeffries-Harris, alto and artistic director Barnaby Smith, tenors Blake Morgan and Euan Williamson, baritone Christopher Moore, and bass Dominic Carver.
